Voluntary Action Lochaber is the Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) serving the Lochaber area. VAL exists to advise, support and develop voluntary and community activity across the Lochaber area. We do this by:

• Understanding the needs of the sector
• Communicating the needs of the sector
• Growing the local sector
• Promoting best practice
• Providing support services
• Representing the interests of the sector

An Drochaid is not only home to Voluntary Action Lochaber - it can also be home to your organisation. Whether you are looking for a meeting room, planning to stage a conference or training event, or looking for an office space, we can meet your needs.

We can accommodate up to 80 people; voluntary, statutory and private sector bookings are all welcome. We can also offer office rental at very competitive rates, meeting your needs...meeting your budget, we may just have what you are looking for.

We offer secure accommodation centrally located and close to public transport links as well as offering car parking. Many of our tenants have been with us since the opening of An Drochaid and it is great to witness the expansion and success of their projects.

Our opening hours are:

Monday – Thursday 9a,m.-1p.m. / 2p.m. – 5 p.m.
Friday 9 am – 1 p.m. /  2 p.m. - 4.30p.m.
