About VAL

Voluntary Action Lochaber (VAL) is a Council for Voluntary Service, (CVS), one of 59 in Scotland. We belong to a national network and a Highland-wide network, Voluntary Action Highland (VAH).
Each CVS is independent, and we have our own constitution and Board of Directors, and set our own local priorities. We are membership-led. Our membership consists of voluntary and community groups in Lochaber, and our Board of Directors is elected from this membership annually.
